Dr. Kokichi Sugihara, distinguished professor emeritus at the Meiji University Organization for the Strategic Coordination of Research and Intellectual Properties, is now giving an internet lecture series called The World of 3D Optical Illusion for people who confine themselves to their homes to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. This series of lectures is part of his efforts to continue his work as an educator and researcher amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The lectures are available in both Japanese and English and last about 15 minutes each. These lectures are designed for viewers to learn about the mechanisms of illusion while having fun.
